Arrived last evening and quickly unloaded and settled in to the casita.

Temperature upon waking is -11 degrees. Minus. A breath in that temp is quickly taken away. Best gather up the firewood quickly and settle in with a cozy fire.
Snow and icicles viewed "warmly" from inside.
I've always loved the kiva fireplace form. And how much you need it with the ridiculously low temps. Stay warm! Hope you were able to venture out. I remember the snow always had a unique squeak to it at those below zero temperatures.
